New Tap House Grill in Des Plaines

New And Noteworthy

Illinois's neighborhood stop for craft beer and burgers is moving into a new neighborhood. Last week Tap House Grill opened its ninth and largest location in the Metropolitan Square of Des Plaines. The 6700-square-foot location has four garage doors opening onto a patio with four TVs and--coming later this month--a fireplace table. In addition to the usual wide selection of brews and meaty entreés, the Des Plaines grill features new menu items, like giant grilled cheese melts nearly a foot long. Seating arrangements allow 268 people inside the restaurant and on the patio, and there's also a private dining room for parties, business meetings or unsociable guests. The new Tap House Grill is easy to spot. Just look for the giant keg on the side of the building.
