Mother’s Day is coming up fast, and if you live near Miami, there are plenty of ways to show Mom your appreciation with food.

BLT Steak will serve a special brunch on May 11 from 11am-4pm. For dinner, guests can select one appetizer, main course, side dish, and dessert from a blackboard menu made from fresh, local ingredients. With featured dishes like Wild Smoked Salmon Salad, Local Royal Red Shrimp "Huevos Rancheros," and Coconut Pancakes, that choice is bound to be a difficult one! The dinner costs $50 per person, featuring Laurent Perrier Champagne for $15 per glass.

Azul will also serve a Mother’s Day Brunch with hot and cold stations, an omelet bar, a waffle station, and more. 

Palme d’Or is normally closed on Sunday, so the Mother’s Day dinner at the Biltmore Hotel’s luxurious French restaurant is a big deal. Palme d’Or will offer a five-course menu for $105. Fontana, home of the Biltmore’s Italian cuisine, is offering a three-course dinner for $95.

Tuyo is serving Mother’s Day Brunch with a Spanish twist from 11:30am-4pm. Choose from a variety of savory, hearty options, like Corvina Ceviche, aCrab Cake Benedict, a Roast Beef and Havarti Sandwich, or the Pan-Roasted American Red Snapper on Coconut-Jasmine Rice. 

At Canyon Ranch, you can treat the mom in your life to a delicious brunch by the sea for Mother’s Day. She can choose from a menu of healthy options prepared by award-winning chef Giovanni Arias. All mothers will receive a complimentary mimosa or glass of Champagne. The brunch includes a seafood ice station, salads, an omelet station, breakfast breads and desserts, and dishes like Spinach Quiche and Turkey Hash. 

At the Fountainebleau Miami Beach, award-winning Italian restaurant, Scarpetta, and American brasserie, Vida, will host Mother's Day affairs. Scarpetta will feature an Italian-inspired buffet style brunch from 11am-3pm, priced at $85 per adult. It includes unlimited Bloody Marys, Bellinis, and Mimosas. The menu costs $44.50 for children under 12, and is free for children under four. Prices exclude tax and gratuity. At Vida, the brunch will also be buffet style with classic American  breakfast offerings, plus charcuterie, and a vast selection of desserts, for $65 per person. For those who plan to wine and dine their mothers in the evening, the hotel's FB Steakhouse will offer a four-course prix-fixe menu from 6-11pm for $85 per person. Oak Tavern: On Sunday, May 11, Oak Tavern will offer its fabulous weekend à la carte brunch menu featuring a combination of savory and sweet brunch favorites as well as creative takes on traditional dishes. Mothers will receive a free glass of Prosecco, pairing perfectly with options of shrimp and gritscoconut crusted French toastblueberry pancakes; and the ever-popular egg dishes, which range from The Basic (two eggs and toast) to Duck Hash and Fried Duck Egg, served with beet relish, chèvre and jalapeño cornbread. Housemade breads and sweets will include warm sticky buns and buttermilk biscuits while brunch libations like the Spiked Arnold Palmer (Oak Tavern’s lemon-thyme infused vodka), the Green Mile (green chile, cilantro, cucumber, lime, and gin) and the Frida Kahlo (smashed cherry tomatoes, tequila, rosemary, and chiles) round out the list. {35 Northeast 40th Street in Miami’s Design District; 786.391.1818}
