It's summer in Miami. With stone crabs, fresh fish, and tropical produce all coming into season, there's all the more reason to branch out and try a new variety of wine. May we suggest uncorking a bottle of Miami's favorite Italian imports—La Cacciatora wines. La Cacciatora is one of the largest wine producers in Italy, securing grapes from fine vineyards in regions like Chianti, Veneto, and Pavia. The best part? From bubbly to Barolo, you don't need to pay a premium to experience the tastes of Italy.

La Cacciatora Chianti – $9.99

From the hills of Tuscany comes this smooth Italian red, blended from Sangiovese, Canaiolo Nero, and Trebbiano grapes. This dry, full-bodied wine is an intense garnet-red color but low on tannins, excellent with grilled meats and blackened fish.

La Cacciatora Pinot Grigio – $9.99

This fresh, summery wine features crisp, fruity flavors of Lombardy grapes. Floral notes dominate the bouquet, while the finish is dry, fresh, and pleasant. This wine is an excellent pair with Southern Florida cuisine; try it with stone crabs, shellfish, or light pasta dishes.

La Cacciatora Prosecco – $12.99

This fruit-forward sparkling wine hails from northern regions of Italy. The Glera grape variety offers dominant flavors of ripe apples and undertones of wild flowers with a crisp, dry finish. Serve it chilled as an aperitif, or during dessert alongside berries and chocolates.

La Cacciatora Barolo – $29.99

A much sought-after Italian wine, this Barolo is deep red, full-bodied, and intensely-flavored with notes of violet and vanilla on the nose and a slightly tannic, velvety taste on the tongue. Enjoy it with red meat, grilled pizza, or dark chocolate.
